Father's Day Reflection

The day after Father's Day.

I draw near to being a father (on the outside that is) - there is most certainly a baby rolling around inside the Pregnant Lady, I am a Dad!!!!  No doubt about that!

On the day of, & this day after Dad's Day, I think not of myself, but of my lovely Pregnant Lady who has endured 9+months of:

- Sleepless Nights

- Restless Legs

- Growing uncomfortableness

- Kicks to the rib cage (the baby, the baby!  Not me...)

- Chilled extremities

- 3am baths to seek relief

- Pregnancy Brain (which kinda makes me feel smarter.... :)

& Acid Reflux that makes the China Syndrome a personal reality.  

Thank you Pregnant Lady for enduring all these things and more, and still managing to make our house a home, preparing for all that is to come, and keeping a sweet spirit through it all.

We are truly Blessed!!!!!!!

And to my parents, who went through this same amazing miracle of life growing within about 50 years ago, I say "Thanks for having me!  I really appreciate it!"

And Dad, thanks for being a Man of God & showing me the narrow path!

Wish you could be here to see your Grandchild, but thanks for giving a legacy that leads to life!

So, about 1.5 weeks to go "officially."

We eagerly await Baby Mitton's arrival and continuing on this Adventure together with God!
